Believe it or not - this was 3 years ago. This got to be the first post because I didn't have that many pictures of Kevin on my work computer. But it is one of Shayann's favorites...probably because she took it.

We were discussing how college graduation is based on credits vs. years...
"I bet the ones the school bully calls geeks can finish in one year...and they like math & science...like Albert Einstein."
"I bet the school bully picked on Albert Einstein. He probably said 'Hey, Einstein!!'"

I was explaining why it was not okay to be late for school everyday (as we had fallen into the habit of being) because it would only hurt him...
Kevin: "But it's not like getting punched in the face."
Me: explain that it means he has less time to do his work
Kevin: "That's okay because I am a fast learner."

11/10/07 - Saturday - After waking up way too early for having been up until almost midnight, I told Kevin that he slept less than on a school night and that he is supposed to sleep in on Saturday. His response...
"But you just don't understand how much kids want to play on their day off"

10/31/07 - Kevin was handing out Halloween candy (after we got back from trick-or-treating), and let the kids pick what they wanted from the bowl. His comment to the kid leaving the door complaing that he did realize we had Sour Patch Kids...

10/2/07 - After I explained to him that he probably didn't have enough time to watch a show once we got home from Cub Scouts because he still needed to finish his homework (which includes 20 minutes of reading)...
"You know, if you let me watch a show and you put those words on the screen [closed captioning], that would be like reading for 20 minutes."
